Krk

The island of Krk, the largest island in Croatia, is located at the beginning of the Kvarner Bay region and can be easily reached from the mainland via the Krk Bridge near Kraljevica without the need for a ferry. The island of Krk itself is a unique island - be it because of its long history, its valuable cultural assets, its nature or its beautiful bathing bays. There are 60 small villages, towns and cities on Krk, with about 18,000 inhabitants.
