There are numerous hiking trails leading to the highest peaks of the peninsula: Vojak (1401 m) and Veli Planik (1272 m), which offer a stunning view of Istria and the Kvarner Bay. A little further south, awaits the picturesque Pula with well-preserved monuments from the Roman era, such as the Amphitheater, which is strikingly similar to the Colosseum, the Arch of the Sergius and the Temple of Augustus.
