KNAUS Campingpark Frickenhausen
The KNAUS Campingpark Frickenhausen is located in the small Franconian winegrowing community of Frickenhausen, at the foot of the Kapellenberg, directly on the River Main and surrounded by beautiful vineyards. On the resulting Main Island there is a large children's playground, beach volleyball court, barbecue hut and a giant chessboard. Directly adjacent to the camping park is the newly designed public outdoor pool.
The nearby wine villages of Sommerhausen and Randersacker are also worth a visit. Sommerhausen, for example, is home to the Torturmtheater, the smallest theatre in Germany and well worth a visit. Guests of the KNAUS Camping Park can even enjoy discounted admission to the theatre. Around 20 kilometres away is the famous episcopal city of Würzburg with its numerous sights, the UNESCO World Heritage Residence, the famous Marienberg Fortress, the imposing Old Main Bridge and its many shopping opportunities.
