The surrounding hilly landscape of the Kozjansko region in the Bistrica and Sotla river basin is characterised by many vineyards and forests and has been designated a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.

Kamp Natura Terme Olimia is nestled in the Kozjanski Park Nature Park, between the Sotla and Bistrica rivers. Explore the UNESCO bird reserve, the Slivniško jezero lake and the Gruška jama cave.
