Camping Krk
Krk Premium Camping Resort is located just 2 km from the city of Krk, on one of the most famous Croatian islands. Our 5-star facility is the first eco-campsite in Croatia, using solar energy and having a modern water purification plant, which is reused for irrigation systems. The campsite has an outdoor infinity pool, a water park for children, a SPA center with saunas and various sports facilities, such as a multi-purpose pitch, bike and water equipment rental. Approx. 2 km from the campsite there is a diving center offering diving courses and equipment rental. The central point of the campsite is the "piazza", where you will find shops, a bakery, a market, a restaurant and an entertainment center. There are also two beautiful beaches - a 250-meter long pebbly beach and the Val Levant Family beach with concrete sunbathing platforms. And for the little ones, there is plenty of fun awiats at the Maro Mini, Maro Midi and Teen Lounge clubs.
Krk is one of the most interesting Croatian islands, perfect for an active holiday. You will find kilometres of walking and cycling trails that lead through forests, vineyards, cliffs and ancient ruins. It is worth visiting the town of Krk - the capital of the island and one of the oldest cities in Croatia with its medieval defensive walls, the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a romantic old town and a seaside promenade full of restaurants and cafes. On the eastern coast, we recommend visiting Vrbnik - a picturesque town on a cliff, famous for its Žlahtina wine and one of the narrowest streets in Europe. In the town of Baška, visit the Vela Plaža - one of the most beautiful beaches on the Adriatic coast. Nearby, there is a hiking trail to the Bag viewpoint with a breath-taking panorama. Also worth visiting is the Biserujka Cave with spectacular rock formations. From the town of Punat, you can take a boat to the tiny, green island of Košljun, where you can visit the Franciscan monastery and museum. For lovers of Croatian cuisine, we recommend trying lamb dishes, fresh seafood and local wine.
